Welcome to India! After clearing customs & immigration at Delhi's international airport, a representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

The morning tour of Old Delhi takes you on a journey through the vibrant streets and markets built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, offering glimpses of the city's rich history and cultural heritage. Highlights include:

- Exploration of the bustling streets and markets of Chandani Chowk

In the afternoon, the tour of New Delhi offers a glimpse into the city's colonial past and spiritual landmarks. Highlights include a visit to Humayun's Tomb, the serene Gandhi Museum, and the sacred Gurdwara Bangla Sahib Sikh temple.

Today you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Prayagraj to settle in at Naga Kothi before your two day Kumbh Mela experience.

Two full days and nights are spent experiencing the Kumbh Mela, its meaning and relevance, rituals and understanding why millions of people who journey here from all walks of life in what is the ultimate spiritual quest. You will experience one-on-one time with Sadhus, witness holy spiritual leaders with their disciples taking a dip in the Ganges.
You'll be hosted by Lakshmi Singh, a spiritual disciple of two great Advait philosophy masters. Over the last 22 years she has devoted herself to her gurus and her personal spiritual journey. In 1989, she happened to visit the Maha Kumbh Mela, and one dip in the holy Ganges and her life changed forever. Something moved inside her and she left her ‘regular life’ and devoted herself to learning and studying Indian Philosophy.

This morning, you will check out of Naga Kothi and be transferred to Varanasi. Varanasi, also known as Benaras or Kashi, is one of the oldest cities in the world, steeped in Hindu mythology and revered as a sacred pilgrimage site. Varanasi is shrouded in mystery regarding its origins, serving as a hub of spiritualism, Sanskrit learning, and the promotion of Hindi language and yoga for over three millennia.
As the sun sets, visitors to the Ganges in Varanasi are treated to a mesmerizing Aarti ceremony, a symbol of devotion and spiritual bliss. This ancient ritual, performed by learned priests, involves the lighting of ceremonial lamps and the chanting of holy mantras as offerings to the sacred river. The atmosphere is filled with the sounds of conch shells and the aroma of incense, creating a truly unique and magical experience that connects worshippers with the divine.

Experience the spiritual and picturesque charm of Varanasi with our Subah (morning) Banaras tour. Begin your day at dawn with a serene boat journey along the Ganges River, witnessing the vibrant rituals and traditions along the ghats. Marvel at the captivating hues of the river and surrounding temples, ashrams, and pavilions as the morning light bathes the city in a golden glow.

- Boat Journey along the Ghats: Enjoy a tranquil ride from Assi Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat, soaking in the beautiful and colorful views of the Ganges River at dawn

- Visit to Kedar Mandir: Cruise down to Kedar Mandir, observing the city come to life with priests performing rituals and locals starting their day with yoga and morning baths.
- Exploration of Varanasi: Walk through the city streets, exploring various activities such as visiting Kushti Akharas, where ancient wrestling traditions meet modern fitness practices.

Conclude the morning exploration by returning to your hotel for a hearty breakfast, filled with memories of Varanasi's rich culture and spiritual essence. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

After a morning at leisure, you'll have a private transfer to the airport for your return flight to Delhi.
On arrival in Delhi, you will either spend the night or connect onwards to a post-extension tour to see more of India, Bhutan or Nepal.
