Namibia and Botswana have long been on our list of featured travel destinations, and now are making for an easier combination with a new flight segment between Maun and Windhoek that will make the two countries much more accessible within a single trip.
DAY 1-2 NAMIBRAN NATURE RESERVE
Kwessi Dunes span the first two nights of the journey, featuring an experience in the Namib Desert and towering dunes of Sossusvlei. Flying safaris are popular here as a way to experience the vast landscape from above.
DAY 3-4 KAOKOLAND
Travel next to Hoanib Valley Camp — one of Namibia’s best vantage points for viewing elephant, giraffe, lion, rhino, zebra and oryx. Private abodes provide a relaxing place between days spent exploring the area and meeting the local Herero people.
DAY 5-6 SKELETON COAST
The next two nights are spent at Shipwreck Lodge on the famed Skeleton Coast of the country, between the Hoarusib and Hoanib rivers with Atlantic Ocean views.
DAY 7 WINDHOEK
Enjoy one night in Namibia's capital city; Windhoek.
DAY 8-11 KHWAI PRIVATE RESERVE
Settle in to a memorable four night stay at Tuludi, an iconic delta experience on the Okavango Delta where relaxing vacation-meets-safari in this chic new camp.
DAY 12-15 Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
