Kenya & Seychelles This 12-night adventure through East Africa spans two Great Plains modern safari properties in Kenya, followed by a stay at the luxe, all-inclusive Maia Seychelles — on one of the globe’s most ancient islands. First, settle in to the great Mara Plains Camp on the Ntiakitiak River. Here, in the Olare Motorola Conservancy on the border of the vast Maasai Mara Reserve, visitors will take in an array of wildlife by day, while indulging by night in the property’s expansive sky views. Next, in the heart of the Chyulu Hills, visitors will explore the adjacent Tsavo and Amboseli national parks from the home base of Ol Donyo Lodge. Finally, four nights in Seychelles will treat travelers with the new and exclusive Maia property — a private peninsula dwelling in full with dedicated butler, infinity pool and an experience that goes well beyond all inclusive.
Kenya
Our new 7-night Kenya itinerary centers around three Safari Collection properties: Giraffe Manor, Solio and Masai Mara Sala’s Camp. More than “just a hotel with giraffes,” Nairobi’s iconic Giraffe Manor has a deep history: first as a hunting lodge, then as a pioneer of giraffe conservation, and today it stands as an exquisite boutique hotel where visitors can feed the giraffe (and dine among them!). Three nights at Solio Lodge treat guests to a luxurious lodge that lays claim as the only guest accommodation on the Solio Game Reserve — nationally recognized for rhino breeding and often featuring experiences with dozens of rhinos at a time. Finally, four nights at Sala’s Camp in the Masai Mara game reserve feature views of the nearby Serengeti and annual wildebeest migration when the season is right. Take in a fireside sundowner or handcrafted gourmet meal in this southern corner of Kenya.
Kenya, Rwanda & Seychelles
For two weeks across Kenya, Rwanda and Seychelles, this new Africa itinerary is the ultimate in luxury with three- and four-night stays across a series of four properties beginning in Volcanoes, Rwanda at Bisate Lodge; heading next to the heart of East Africa at Masai Mara Angama Mara; followed by Segera Camp in Laikipia; and finally the Four Seasons at Desroches Island, Seychelles. The properties here will delight visitors with expertly appointed en suite forest villas, exclusive and opulent lodges, locally sourced gourmet cuisine, spectacular vistas from which to relax and indulge; and exquisite views of the surrounding African wildlife.
Tanzania
We’re so pleased to share our newest trip through Tanzania, centered around a series of unique and exclusive lodges and camps across this eastern corner of Africa that is home to the Serengeti National Park and “big five” African game: lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo. Here, visitors will enjoy three nights at Chem Chem Lodge and its eight tented suites marked by vintage safari style; followed by two nights at the idyllic and sensory Gibb’s Farm with its coffee picking and roasting, baking classes, pool, fam walks and helping hands safari. Next, head to four nights’ stay in one of the Legendary Serengeti Mobile camps, and finally four nights at Mwiba Lodge — a luxe safari experience set across a natural backdrop and featuring an exclusive lodge marked by both traditional and modern design, artful interiors, infinity pool and great expanse of African landscape as far as the eye can see.
South Africa & Mozambique
For a new take on South Africa and the coastal corner of Mozambique, our new itinerary features four nights in Cape Town, two nights at the Cape Dutch farm Babylonstoren, four nights a Lion Sands Ivory Lodge along the Sabi River and four nights at Mozambique’s Azura Benguerra Island. In Cape Town, settle in to the Cape Cadogan, an elegant and stylish luxury boutique hotel fashioned from an old Georgian-Victorian townhouse in the Gardens suburb. At Babylonstoren, wander the farm grounds and explore the butterfly farm, cottages, spa, restaurants or wine tastings. Top off the journey with four days each at the safari destination Lion Sands Game Reserve and finally the pristine and exclusive Azura Benguerra Island — with its island climate and deserted white sand beaches.
