Which Countries Should I Visit?

There's no single "best" answer, it depends on how you love to travel.

For first-time visitors, Thailand often provides a wonderful introduction to the region with its balance of culture, cuisine, wellness, and beaches.

If you're passionate about food, history, and vibrant cities, Vietnam may quickly become your favorite.

Cambodia is ideal for travelers seeking meaningful cultural experiences, fascinating history, remarkable hospitality, and unforgettable destinations like Angkor Wat.

Many of our clients choose to combine two countries over two weeks, while longer journeys allow for a deeper exploration of all three.

How Much Time Should I Plan For?

While it's certainly possible to visit Southeast Asia for a week, we typically recommend allowing enough time to truly experience each destination.

As a general guideline:

• 10–14 days: Explore two countries comfortably.

• 14–18 days: Experience three countries at a relaxed pace.

• Three weeks or more: Venture beyond the highlights and include lesser-known destinations like Khao Sok, Ninh Binh, Battambang, or Thailand's Nan Province.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Southeast Asia?

This is one of the questions we answer most often, and the answer depends on where you're traveling.

Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia all experience different weather patterns, meaning there isn't one perfect season for the entire region.

Generally speaking, November through March offers excellent weather across much of Thailand and Cambodia, while Vietnam varies considerably between its northern, central, and southern regions throughout the year.
